Baby Robin under my Apple Tree!!

I was out watering my garden early this morning and this baby Robin was under my Apple tree. His mommy kept coming by trying to get him to fly. She brought him something to eat and coaxed him across the grass trying to get him to fly back on the fence. It was so cute to watch him ruffle his feathers and try to fly up on the fence. It took him three tries to finally get high enough.

I Love all the Blog Hops!! Thanks to Madame Samm for all the super fun Blog Hops!! I always see so many beautiful creations that inspire me!! Carol of "Just Let me Quilt" our wonderful host always inspires me. I was so honored when she asked me to create a puppy for her giveaway. She was so great at getting my creative juices flowing!! 

I love this fabric and wanted to create a new doll for summer, so Daisy was born!!

I make Bee's every year but I usually make them with two-toned yellow fabric and polka dot bow ties like the large Bee below. I decided to dig through my fabrics and see what florals I could use to make cute Bee's

I barely got this Bee Door doll finished. I found these appliqued flower pots on an old quilt top that had never been finished at a thrift store and wanted to save the pots that weren't falling apart. Here is one of my salvage ideas!!


June 4th is my oldest son Jr's birthday he is 22!! He is in the Army and stationed in Korea right now. So in honor of his birthday I will be giving away some Patriotic fabrics!! Just leave a comment and if you do Facebook leave a comment there also!!

Americana Flag Kitty with thrift store ribbon!!

I love this ribbon I found at the thrift store, it was a huge roll!! It goes perfect with my flag kitty!!

The Bird house finally in the Apple Tree!!

Wasn't sure if everyone remembered the bird house my husband made for me for Mother's Day.

Can you see it in the middle of the Apple tree? It finally got put in the tree!! I hope some birds make a home in it next year!!

Cherry Tree!!

We framed and screened the Cherry tree today so the birds won't eat them all. If you can zoom in you will be able to see the netting. I can't wait for all those cherries to start turning red!!
