I have never made anything with Hexies!! I created this summer candle mat!! I had a heck of a time with those little corners matching up! I trying to get a good photo of the white floral print in the middle.

It's Back to School for My Last Baby!

Its back to school for my last baby, she is a senior!! Its going to be a busy year! I don't go back to college until the 26th and I sure needed the break. I made a wool apple pillow in honor of all those great inspiring teachers out there!!

It's been crazy over here!!

I just finished taking 6 college classes, talk about making myself crazy!! I'm so glad finals are over and I get 3 weeks before Fall classes begin.

I get to sew til my hearts content!! Of course I will squeeze in some yard work and baking. I have a few blog hops I need to get ready for and making a some new dolls for the holiday's!!

Carol of "Just Let me Quilt" our wonderful host always inspires me. I was so excited to see what everyone created for the HO HO HO Blog Hop!!

I wanted to make a few projects that I had on the back burner but wanted to get finished for this year!
I really loved this angel pattern I had for a long time but wanted to change it up a bit and make it my own!!
I just love that hair!! I wasn't sure about her face so I kept it simple.

I love this rocking horse pattern it reminds of an old Christmas ornament and ecru thread with gold was the perfect choice. I'm going to send out alot of these this year!!

I also wanted to make a few mitten ornaments but I only got one pair finished.

When I got this fur it had reindeer written all over it. I made the pattern myself using my knowledge of making a teddy bear. I love how his ears and tail came out. I had some Christmas light buttons and strung them up to put on his antlers. He can stand up, I wanted to show his tail.
