Grandma's Fudge Recipe!!

Grandma Nettie's Fudge Recipe (My moms mother)

6 ounces unsweetened chocolate chips or squares
6 ounces milk chocolate chips or squares
1 cup marshmallow cream
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup nuts ( I used macadamia or pecans)

lightly rub shortening on a 9X9 inch pan. Put the chocolate and marshmallow cream in a large bowl. In a sauce pan combine sugar, milk and butter and gradually bring to a boil over low heat. Boil for 5 minutes then pour over the chocolate mixture and stir until the chocolate mixture is smooth then add the vanilla and nuts. Pour into the pan and let it sit until its firm. Cut into squares and store in an air tight container.
