Shake your POM POMS Blog Hop!!

I loved this blog hop Madame Samm created!! Thanks to Thearica from Pigtailsandquilts for hosting all the excitement!!

All the snow today was really putting me in the mood!! I was real excited about this blog hop because I have been wanting to find the time to make this project!! I got all the yarn 3 years and had the idea to make it many years before that.
I used 6 skeins of the rug yarn and the 3 inch pom pom maker.

I used an old thread spool as my center to tie all my pom poms together to give my snowman stability.

Here is my Pom Pom Snowman!! His eyes, nose and mouth are wool. I gave him a wool scarf and top hat! He has rusty star buttons and a little rusty tree on the brim of his hat.

Here are all of the other creative ladies posting today!! I bet they made some wonderful PomPom projects go enjoy all the fun!!

Very cute idea. I don't think we had enough snow at any one time to make a snowman this past winter, but we had lots of snow, melt, mud, snow, melt mud. Love the idea.

Your snowman is absolutely adorable. I live in the Tulsa, OK area. We set a new record Tuesday for a new low temperature. It had been 37 degrees. Now it's 34. So our precip was a rainy mist, not snow. But it was cold and particularly for here. People were not very happy about the weather. I had a repair man on my roof repair siding under my eaves that day. BRRR He looked like a snowman bundled up. Your snowman is much, much cuter than he. I would not have thought about the wooden thread spool for stabilit - great idea and ceratinly something is needed. Thanks for participating and sharing the great idea and the snowy picture as well. I do like snow and miss it. We don't get as much snow here as where I grew up as a child.
