Christmas Blog Hop!! Had a mudslide last night!! Giveaway!!

I'm so sorry my post is late!! We had horrible rains the last few days and caused the wall in our window well to cave in and fill it with a mudslide yesterday evening. The muddy water came in through the window went down the wall and into the carpet such a mess. The curtains are ruined also.
Thanks so much to Madame Samm and Lesley from The Cuddle Quilter for hosting this super fun blog hop!! I have loved seeing all the ladies so far!! Everyone has worked so hard and I have been inspired with so many new ideas!!
These are my pieces all cut out!! I made the dresden plates and machine stitched them to my blocks.
I made a table runner!! It is actually going to go on my dining room table but it was easier to take the picture on my coffee table. See the finished runner below!!
August 3

I'm going to the Quilt shop tomorrow!! I am going to get a festive bundle of fat quarters for a giveaway!! Just leave a comment and your entered!!

I am sorry about your flood and the muddy mess. My father always said, "Into each life some rain must fall" and I thought of that quote often the fall we had 5 hurricanes.(we lived in Orlando) Only one was concentrated enough for water to leak in around the foundations and we just cleaned up with towels since it was in the "florida" room--tile, no carpet. I can't imagine mud, carpet, drapes. Not to mention your walls. I will think of you today.

QuiltSue said...

I love this. The dresdens almost make it look as though you've got wreaths on the runner.

PS I love your witch in the previous post too.

Cherry-Your table runner is fantastic and I think you are amazing for posting considering your recent circumstances. You don't say where you are-I am from the SFBay Area and although we are short on rain this year, we are not in as bad shape as some other areas of the country. When I watch the news daily, I pay close attention to the weather around the county as we have family/friends all over. Thanks for your sharing.
