Our strawberries have been gone. I did make hubby some jam for pancakes while we had some. Our tomatoes are about gone as well. I did put up some fabulous pasta sauce tho. Enjoy them while you still have them. I just can't believe summer is almost gone.
Hi, Cherry~ Love Strawberries~ around here they come out early June~seems late for them~ Tomatos are coming along here slowly, just enough to pick & slice up~ but just too dry( they are dry rotting) Glad you had rain~ smiles Teresa
Isn't it fun to grow stuff. You might try getting a 1/2 yard of wedding tulle to put over the strawberries so the birds don't get them. just an idea. I use row covers all the time on my veggies.
