I am making fruit cakes. This one is getting mailed to grandma. I still need to wrap it with cheesecloth and sprinkle it with rum. It is grandmas recipe so now I make it for her. I am making one for my son who loves fruit cake. I am also making one for us and one for my mother. I will post this delicious old family recipe this weekend!!

OMgosh, my hubby and I were just talking about fruitcakes today! We both love them, and all I ever hear anyone say is Ewww. :(
I've never made one though, so am looking forward to your recipe! And rum on top.........YUM!!!
